Genesis Metro-Live Stream & Low-Voltage Audio
Genesis Metro (genesismetro.org) is all about the people and they strive to measure the church’s success by the lives that are changed in response to God’s Word.
This church has humble beginnings, starting in a home in 2004, but over time they have outgrown that house and moved into their first facility in 2011.
It seems that in every season Genesis Metro is evolving, and their needs change in how they are able to reach people in their community. They are not afraid of using technology in new ways to reach new people.
The install took place just before the start of the new school year. With the new season approaching, Genesis wanted to be able to Live Stream the service in an area of their facility that would provide a relaxing environment where their visitors/members could sit down, maybe have some coffee, and watch the service.
We ran a single SDI cable run to the location where the overflow section would be. We also provided additional SDI cable runs that will be used in the future.
We installed a video switcher which would allow them to display either one of their cameras as well as the sermon notes and even lyrics on the four TV Display. In order to make the viewing display large enough we used a device that would take a single video source and broadcast it onto four different displays. The displays that we used were four Samsung 55” Smart TVs for quality and durability.
In addition to the video display, we also installed an Atlas Blue Bridge DSP and four Atlas pendant speakers that were programmed to allow the overflow to listen to the service without disturbing those who were getting coffee or tea in the cafe.
What started out as an area for people that were grabbing something to drink to hear and see the service, quickly was seen as a space that could be created into an overflow space. Not only were we able to provide quality service, but we also helped Genesis Metro get more out of their building.
